Havia arribat a Manresa l\u2019any 1929. Com a militant d\u2019esquerres, havia patit la repressi\u00f3 posterior als Fets del Sis d\u2019Octubre del 1934, i fou processat i empresonat. En esclatar la guerra tenia 36 anys i treballava de pe\u00f3 de f\u00e0brica. Al cap de poc, es va casar amb Pura Rodr\u00edguez Vila, que era viuda i tenia una filla.<\/p>\n<p>Ignorem la seva traject\u00f2ria durant el conflicte. En tot cas, ja fos per haver fet la retirada amb l\u2019ex\u00e8rcit republic\u00e0 o per haver fugit de l\u2019entrada de les tropes franquistes i de la conseg\u00fcent repressi\u00f3, va acabar en un camp de refugiats al sud de Fran\u00e7a. All\u00e0, mesos despr\u00e9s, fou incorporat a una CTE (Companyia de Treballadors Espanyols) al servei de l\u2019ex\u00e8rcit franc\u00e8s, durant l\u2019inici de la segona guerra mundial.<\/p>\n<p>Capturat pels alemanys durant la invasi\u00f3 i la caiguda de Fran\u00e7a, fou internat al camp de presoners de guerra (<em>Stalag<\/em>) VIII-C de Sagan (Pol\u00f2nia), amb la matr\u00edcula 36.808. L&#8217;octubre del 1940 \u00e9s traslladat a l\u2019<em>Stalag <\/em>\u00a0XII-D de Tr\u00e8veris. Com Jaume Viladrosa i Josep Se\u00f1al, \u00e9s deportat el 25 de gener de 1941 a Mauthausen. All\u00e0 ser\u00e0 el n\u00fam. 4.163. Aviat ser\u00e0 traslladat a Gusen, on rebr\u00e0 el n\u00fam. 10.449. Hi morir\u00e0 el 4 de novembre del 1941.
